Just told my first love, Lori, after six months of work on my writer’s teeth, as the late Sam Shepard famously referred to his, I find this so inspiring I am taking it viral while promising not to mention, unless anyone should ask about Mallory, thank you very much for asking, that Mallory was Lori’s pet name for my, well, you know, when we were fifteen and Reagan ruled the day if failing memory serves.
