So I was telling this Mormon mother of a modest three and former favorite student of mine from Camas, Washington USA with a collection of original metal concert shirts to die for how two of my current teen Expat students (twin brothers) caught Mötley Crüe and Def Leppard live in Yokohama a couple weeks ago with their parents prior to which I explained there was a time before they were born when the one-armed Leppard drummer proved a popular Halloween costume. I asked them to think of me when the Crüe leaned into Shout at the Devil and bring me some merch in the form of an official shirt. Just got the report confirming they did play Shout at the Devil as I promised they would, but no shirt. I’d hoped to sport it proudly on the court in my former student’s honor, but she’ll have to settle for a little shout out here until I’ve gotten to know the twins well enough to secure the merch when a more mature lineup like AC/DC and Black Sabbath come to town together next year.
